Places to Eat & Drink

Papi’s Munchies

Tucked away within the quaint Browning Road E11, which we will talk more about later, is this the brilliant Papi’s Munchies, a delicious pizzeria based outside the equally brilliant North Star pub. If you love your pizza half as much as the Theydons team does then please do take our word for just how great this place is for a bite to eat.

Theydons Recommends
Pizza Parmigana with truffle & stilton dip and for all of the sweet tooth’s out there the Nutella Prise is a must!

Perky Blenders

Lucky for all of the commuters out there not only does Leytonstone have great access into the City & West End via the Central Line, but you can also make the journey, all that bit more, shall we say, bearable via a stop at Perky Blenders for your morning brew & pastry, which is conveniently located within Leytonstone Central Line tube station.

Theydons Recommends
as the coffee specialists we are here (not official) we think you can never go wrong with a flat white or latte, Perky’s also offers a good range of milk alternatives and if your anything like our team it’s oat milk all the way!

Wild Goose Bakery

Now if you are familiar with Leytonstone we’re almost certain that you would have heard of the fabulous Wild Goose Bakery, which is located at the end of Church Lane running along High Road Leytonstone, conveniently located just a short stroll away from our office, but maybe not so convenient for our waist lines! Either way if you are looking for some glorious freshly made pastries, sourdough bread and / or exquisite toasted sandwiches, then wild goose is the place for you.

Theydons Recommends
The freshly made custard tarts and jam donuts are what dreams are made of, they also make a mean flat white, the perfect paring for any tasty treat.

Homies on Donkeys

A latest and much welcomed new addition to Leytonstone High Road, Homies on Donkeys, is serving up some seriously tasty Taquería. Previously located in Walthamstow, Homies on Donkeys has built up an incredible reputation for their yummy tacos, which are brimming with colour and flavour, all the while set to a hip hop soundtrack! If all of that wasn’t enough to persuade you to visit them, then how about this, Homies on Donkeys appeared on BBC’s Britain’s Top Takeaway, where five of the nation’s top-rated takeaways for Mexican food battle it out to win the accolade of best Mexican takeaway in Britain, to which Homies on Donkeys came out on top! So not only are they serving delicious Mexican food, but its award winning as well!

Here in Leytonstone we are spoilt for choice when it comes to tasty pizza, but if you are after more of a sit down meal amongst beautiful interiors and a friendly atmosphere, then Bocca Bocca is a must visit. Located on High Road Leytonstone, Bocca Bocca brings some much-appreciated style and pizzazz to the area alongside some delicious, handcrafted pizza and curated drinks menu.

Theydons Recommends:
